A Landmark Reimagined

Built in 1920–1921 as Hibernia Bank, 313 Carondelet Street was designed to convey permanence, beauty, and unmistakable New Orleans grandeur. Today, its historic architecture is being thoughtfully transformed into The Capital on Carondelet—a remarkable setting for weddings, galas, corporate events, and celebrations of every kind.

From 2019 through 2026, our family-led team created and operated The Capital on Baronne, building The Capital’s reputation for memorable New Orleans celebrations, exceptional service, and an in-house culinary experience.

The Capital on Carondelet is the next chapter of that same Capital brand—not a sister property of Columns or any other venue. The team, culinary program, and standard of service our clients know from The Capital on Baronne continue at Carondelet in a landmark venue designed to welcome celebrations of up to 450 guests.

Michele has planned weddings and events in New Orleans since 2001. Her daughter, Brittani, brings a lifetime in the wedding industry along with experience in hotel and event management. Michele’s sister, Blakley, leads the culinary team as executive chef, preparing every menu on site. Together, they approach each event with warmth, expertise, and close attention to every detail.
