  • Your rental includes 150 champagne Chiavari chairs; four 8-foot king’s tables; four 60-inch rounds; four 48-inch rounds; eight 30-inch rounds; ten highboys plus three 36 × 36 highboys; 20 barstools; Ivory Majestic linens for guest tables; some table décor; and three votives per guest table. Setup fees may apply to décor selections.

  • The Capital can accommodate up to 500 guests for a reception-style event and up to 250 guests for a seated dinner. Final capacity depends on your selected floor plan.

  • No. The Capital on Carondelet does not have a getting-ready space. Please plan to get dressed at your hotel or another nearby location before arriving.

  • Yes. Food and beverage service is provided by The Capital’s in-house culinary and bar teams. Menus are customizable; outside specialty or cultural caterers must be discussed and approved in advance.

  • Your rental includes two detailed planning meetings with an event coordinator and a bridal attendant for the event. A professional wedding planner is still strongly recommended.

  • Stage, dance floor, uplighting, additional tables, chairs, and linens are available for an additional cost. Your event or production manager can provide current pricing.

  • Yes. Ceremonies may take place on the dance floor with seating for approximately 200–250 guests, depending on the layout. During the room flip, guests can second-line or enjoy cocktail hour in the bar area and designated outdoor space along the Carondelet Street sidewalk.

  • Your rental includes three hours before the event for setup and two hours afterward for breakdown. We will do our best to accommodate requests for additional time when the venue schedule allows.

  • Yes. Security is included, with one security officer stationed at each entrance.

  • Yes. You may bring your own photographer, videographer, band or DJ, cake provider, and certain additional rental vendors. Catering and bar services, along with any other services designated as in-house, must be provided by The Capital on Carondelet.

  • All outside vendors must provide a certificate of insurance showing at least $1 million in commercial general liability coverage.

  • Absolutely! Cake cutting and service are included.

  • Yes, subject to venue availability. Additional time is charged at the applicable hourly venue-rental rate, plus the cost of extending bar service.

  • Yes. The Capital on Carondelet is the next chapter of the Capital brand created and operated by our family-led team at The Capital on Baronne from 2019 through 2026. The same experienced team, in-house culinary program, and commitment to exceptional service continue at our new landmark venue at 313 Carondelet Street.

  • No. The Capital on Carondelet is not a sister property of Columns. It is the continuation of The Capital brand created and operated by our family-led team at The Capital on Baronne, now carried forward at 313 Carondelet Street.
